History
The ROYAL CERCLE SPORTIF VISETOIS was established in 1924.
It’s registration number at the U.R.B.S.F.A. is 369
The club begins in regional 3rd DIVISION.
Champion of a serie of this division in 1928, it reaches theregional DIVISION II, where it will play ten seasons.
At the end of the season 1937-38, it rises to 1st PROVINCIAL.
Vice-champion in 1948, the R.C.S. VISETOIS is going, for the first time of its history, to rise in NATIONAL PROMOTION. It stays two seasons there.
Except for one season in 2nd PROVINCIAL (in 1959-60), the club is going to evolve in 1st PROVINCIAL until 1964.
Since then, it had five times the titles of PROVINCIAL ChAMPION:
In 1964: the club remains two seasons in Promotion
In 1971: the club remains four seasons in Promotion
In 1980: the club remains nine seasons in Promotion
In 1992: the club remains a single season in Promotion
In 1994: the club takes back its place in Promotion, a division that it will leave again in 1996 but this time in a more glorious way because it will be to reach the NATIONAL 3rd DIVISION after getting the title of champion of PROMOTION SERIE C.
It is the beginning of the ascension of our club which, in 1998, rises to 2nd NATIONAL DIVISION II via a final tour.
After two seasons at this level, the R.C.S.VISETOIS will come down again in 3rd DIVISION to go back up again in 2000 in 2nd DIVISION and remain again during three seasons there.
In 2010, the Club is Champion of 3rd national Division and goes back up to 2nd Division. During the season 2010/2011 the club will end 5th after a magnificent first season with José Riga at its head
In April, 2011 the club is acquired by a group of Indonesian investor: the Bakrie Group and Aga Bakrie becomes Chairman of the Club. The structure of the club is completely modified and all the players obtain the status of professional player.
